ORBS
A possible explanation for the orb in this photograph is that 99% of orbs are are either flies, small insects, rain, dust,  light refractions and reflections and other possible natural causes. Some can also be caused by a known fault with digital cameras CCD.

This particular orb in the photo shown above, being green could be because it is in line with the snooker tables green baize. It could also be due to the infrared cameras LED , (that was set up at the time the photo was taken) causing the dust to reflect back green due to cancelling out the red light in the image at that point.

The way that the camera works, and light for that matter, is that every object reflects back light in different intensities and wavelengths, dependent on the colour and distance of the object. Opaque objects don't reflect much, if any light but let light straight through, so that an object that IS opaque could appear to be the same colour as the background object, hence the possible cause in this photo.
