GHOSTS, SPIRITS AND ENTITIES
Many people believe that ghosts, spirits and entities are/mean the same thing. In fact there is a big difference between all of them and R.I.P felt it was important to tell you about these differences. Below you will find some information so you can understand the distinct difference between a ghost, spirit and entity.
GHOSTS
 Ghosts are a blue print of a memory (known as residual energy) that is trapped in the fabric of a location or building, are not aware of the current surroundings and neither can risidaul energy interact with the living. This can occur if something traumatic has happened or even some event that was filled with happiness. For an example of a ghost, You may see a horse and carraige thundering down a dirt track on a regular basis or see the apparition of a frightened woman running away from something in a field, this may be replayed every day, month or even every year at exactly the same time and re-enact the exact same sequence of events, every time it is replayed. These re-enactments can happen for thousands and thousands of years and witnessed by many. It is like watching a scene on a DVD player and then rewinding and watching again...... and again....and again.

SPIRITS
|
 A spirit is the soul of a person or animal who has passed away and usually have the same memories and personalities from they were alive. A spirit is aware that we can see them, interact with the living and communicate with us, usually through a medium. The spirit may have a emotional attachment with a person or place, have unfinished business to do, be lost or not even realised that they have died. Spirits can eventually move onto the next level. They may, however, need the help of a medium to complete the transaction.

ENTITIES
 An entity is a disembodied/non physical being and covers a much wider spectrum than your average ghosts or spirits. Entities cover the wider range of the paranormal. From ghosts to spirits, demons to monsters and fairies to sprites, they are not in the physical body. An entity is able to communicate with the living and will often attach itself to a person or animal, sometimes (but not always) causing a great deal of stress for the person/animal and loved ones involved e.g. possession. Entities can take on many different forms and some people report seeing a black mass or shape, while others may report seeing them as a mist. Just like the living, there can be good entities as well as negative.
